Dr Sophie Bostock

Sophie Bostock, is a Sleep Evangelist on a mission: to help millions of people to help improve their health and performance, by understanding the science of sleep and circadian rhythms.

Sophie has always been intrigued by what makes us feel good and perform at our best. Following degrees in Medicine and Entrepreneurship, she completed a PhD at University College London (UCL). Her research investigated why positive emotions protect against heart disease and work stress. This led to an interest in sleep as an unsung hero of wellbeing and performance.

Sophie was awarded an NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellowship for her work on Sleepio.com, the online sleep improvement programme.

As an international speaker, she now delivers tailored keynote speeches and training for employers, healthcare providers and professional sports teams. She has been invited to deliver talks for TEDx and Talks@Google. and regularly features as a media sleep expert for ITV.
